Strasbourg is the seat of several European institutions such as the Council of Europe (with its European Court of Human Rights, its European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines and its European Audiovisual Observatory) and the Eurocorps, as well as the European Parliament and the European Ombudsman of the European Union. Strasbourg Airport is located in Entzheim 10 km west-southwest of Strasbourg. The airport is served by a navette (shuttle bus) service, taxis and a local railway station. The navette only travels to an out of town tram stop and runs fairly infrequently, especially at weekends. The railway station only has trains at peak hours on weekdays, leaving expensive taxis as the only viable mode of transport into the city.
